About

Currently Clavus Studios is the studio name I use to present most of my own work. 'Clavus' is a nickname I use myself, but the original owner of the name is my lizard (R.I.P. 01-02-2010).

Introduction:
I grew up with a passion for video games ever since that wonderful day I got my Nintendo 64 system. After I got into game making itself using the easy-to-use Game Maker program, I grew more and more aware of how games are build up and how they serve to give the player a great experience. I have an eye for detail and spotting potential problems, which is a good thing when it comes to game development. The games I make rarely have obvious bugs. One downside of my character is that I can get demotivated over time. A lot of projects fell victim to lack of interest.

In the year 2007 I came across a small multiplayer gaming community for which I started modding gameservers. The modifications and new gamemodes I made were succesful enough to make the community's game servers popular up to this day. I'm now learning to use more complex game development tools, hoping to create a commercial game in the nearby future.

Achievements

achievement
Quite possibly my biggest achievement up till now when it comes to game development. My game L.E.I.P was chosen by all contestants as the most entertaining game in the competition. My prize included a Ipod Nano that I still use today.

achievement
My latest achievement; getting featured in a huge gaming magazine. And I didn't even know about it until a few months after the issue was released. The PC Gamer UK dedicated half a page in their mods section to my Infected Wars gamemode (which currently runs on the Mr. Green servers). View high resolution scan of the article here.

More coming!

This part meant as a sort of social profile/history. I'm not really into websites like MySpace and Facebook, so I'll just dump a list of games, music and anime series I like here...
